The Bachelor of Screen Arts - Animation Major immerses students in the creative and technical world of animation for film, media, and digital storytelling. Spanning three years (360 credits), students develop hands-on skills in 2D, 3D, and visual effects animation, character and story development, as well as essential project management and collaborative practices using industry-standard tools and software. The program aims to produce graduates with a multidisciplinary approach, equipping them for versatile roles in screen arts industries.

Work effectively in teams and individually, managing creative projects through all production stages and applying critical thinking to solve creative and technical challenges.
Literacy – 10 credits at Level 2 or above (5 in reading, 5 in writing)
Numeracy – 10 credits at Level 1 or above
Mature entry: 20 years of age with evidence of aptitude/work experience or equivalent qualification
Submission of a portfolio of creative work (e.g. artwork, animation, film, game design)
