About This Course
This programme equips creatives to confidently use artificial intelligence tools across design, content creation, animation, marketing, film, and digital media, while keeping creative vision firmly human-led. Students will learn about AI concepts and technologies, ethical and responsible use, copyright, intellectual property, sustainability, and personal and professional development for creative careers. The course emphasises human-centred, ethical practice in creative industries and strengthens employability with a hybrid skillset.

- Ethical, cultural, and sustainability considerations in AI and creative practice
- Academic skills: research, critical evaluation, digital literacy
- AI Technologies in Creative Practice: using AI for ideation, prototyping, asset generation, and design thinking
- AI in Creative Workflows: integrating AI into planning, collaboration, project management, production
- Hands-on projects: pitching, feedback, showcasing work
- Copyright, intellectual property, ethics, sustainability
- Personal and Professional Pathways: strengths identification, career interest, CV and interview preparation, workplace communication

Entry Requirements
Hold NCEA Level 2 or equivalent as evidence of ability to succeed in the programme
English language requirement: IELTS 5.5 (General or Academic) with no band lower than 5.0, or equivalent (for students with English as a second language)
