Demonstrate understanding and application of the full processes and principles needed to create and plan screen content.

Design engaging visual stories using storyboarding, scripting, storytelling, location planning, and art direction.

Operate cameras, manage lighting, and record quality audio for a range of content forms in a studio or on-location.
This 40-week diploma equips students with the complete toolkit of skills needed for modern screen production. From storyboarding, scripting, and art direction, to shooting, lighting, audio, editing, and collaborative project work, students follow industry-standard processes and graduate with a New Zealand Diploma in Screen Production (Level 5). The course is hands-on, utilizing current software and equipment, and prepares graduates for entry-level work in film, television, and digital content creation.
