The Fashion Design major at AUT offers an immersive studio-based experience, blending craft and technology in contemporary fashion. With a strong focus on 'slow' fashion practices and sustainable, responsible design, you'll work through hands-on projects, develop your conceptual and technical skills, explore the history and culture of fashion, and build real-world confidence. The final year includes a self-directed project and a public showcase. Graduates are prepared for a variety of design, production, and commercial roles within the fashion industry.
