- Independent design projects culminating in public exhibition
- Option to combine with minor or elective subjects across AUT
- Workshops and access to rapid prototyping labs
- Human-centred and sustainable design practices
- Real-life projects alongside industry partners (e.g., Macpac, Citta Design, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, Auckland Council, Zespri, ADHB)
- Integrated design practice (Year 3)
