In this hands-on course, you will design and make a custom kimono-style jacket using repurposed garments or fabric offcuts. Participants will develop skills in patchworking, colour coordination, and handcraft, transforming discarded textiles into unique wearable pieces. The course also provides experience on industrial sewing machines and covers construction, pattern terminology, industry-standard techniques, and basic sewing machine maintenance.
Entry Requirements
You must supply your own discarded clothing, preloved fabric or fabric offcuts.
