About This Course
This Level 4 Certificate prepares you to provide education and care in early childhood settings or to pathway into higher-level study leading to a teaching qualification. It includes learning experiences aligned to socio-cultural theories, personal and professional practice philosophies, inclusive and diverse teaching practices (including a focus on Māori as tangata whenua), and effective communication in early childhood environments. Practical work placement is included, with programmes timetabled to suit those with children.
