The Master of Specialist Teaching (MSpecTchg) at Massey University is a 180-credit, part-time qualification designed for professionals in education who already hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching or a related qualification. The programme deepens and broadens specialist knowledge in a range of educational needs, and fosters interprofessional collaboration. Learn alongside and from a broad community of specialist teachers, developing skills in collaboration and reflective practice.
Bachelor’s degree with minimum B average, relevant professional qualification, and at least two years relevant professional experience
Meet Massey University English language requirements (IELTS 7.0 in all bands or equivalent, unless exempted by Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand registration)
Current practising certificate (for registered teachers) OR undergo NZ Police vetting and provide relevant documentation if not fully registered
Provide academic transcripts and curriculum vitae
