The Doctor of Education (EdD) at the University of Auckland is a unique, part-time doctoral programme designed for working professionals in the education sector. The programme combines a supportive cohort model for the first two years with individualised research supervision for the remainder. Students undertake advanced, practice-focused research aimed at enhancing educational practice and policy. The EdD has the same status as a PhD.
