The Master of Education Practice (MEdPrac) at the University of Auckland is tailored for practising teachers who want to deepen their educational practice, gain research-informed knowledge, and apply advanced skills in their working context. The programme can be completed part-time or full-time and offers both 120-point (for those with prior qualifications and experience) and 180-point pathways. A specialisation in Inclusive Education is available, equipping teachers with skills for diverse educational environments. Courses are delivered via a blend of face-to-face and online methods, and focus areas include contemporary pedagogies, digital learning, curriculum theory, social psychology, and supporting diverse learners.
