Graduates may credit their courses towards a Master of Education if GPA requirements are met and the certificate has not been awarded. Course Content
- Inclusive Education: advanced knowledge in inclusive practices, supporting diverse learners, culturally responsive pedagogy, and research skills.
- Early Childhood: psychology, leadership, child development, pedagogy, contemporary global understandings of childhood, inquiry and research skills.
- Literacy Education: critical literacy, developing multiple literacies, literacy leadership, accelerated learning, effective practice evaluation.
- Choice of two 30-point courses from areas such as digital learning, curriculum studies, educational leadership, social psychology, assessment, mentoring, second language learning, Māori education, curriculum theory and practice, counselling, and practitioner inquiry.
