This four-year, part-time apprenticeship programme delivered by EarnLearn in partnership with Otago Polytechnic equips students with the practical and theoretical knowledge required to work safely and competently as an electrician. Apprentices earn while they learn, undertaking supervised workplace training alongside electrical theory classes, supporting their progress towards registration as an electrician in Aotearoa New Zealand. The programme includes regular support from an account manager, access to an online learning platform, and an expectation of both on-job and off-job assessments. Applicants must secure a supporting employer prior to enrolment.
