This course is designed for registered electricians who want to progress their electrical career by becoming qualified electrical inspectors. Students will expand their theoretical and practical knowledge in line with current legislation, safety standards, and inspection techniques. The course prepares graduates for the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) Inspector assessment and builds competence in verifying the safety of electrical systems. Delivery includes night classes and practical site visits. Upon successful completion, participants are prepared to sit the EWRB Inspector theory and practical assessments (theory examination paid separately).

- Use of electrical test instruments for inspection purposes
- Inspection of electrical installations across a range of specialised and hazardous areas
- Visual, physical, and instrumental testing of installations
- Recording and reporting inspection results
- Preparation for the EWRB Electrical Inspector Theory examination
