The Electrical Service Technician (EST) (Level 3) is designed for people currently working in the electrical industry. The course addresses New Zealand's skills shortage and prepares students to repair, maintain, disconnect, and reconnect single and three-phase electrical appliances, including commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. Emphasis is placed on safety, measurement techniques, and safe work practices. Both theory and practical training are included, alongside preparation for the EWRB assessment.
