About This Course
The Electrical Installer course at Unitec provides practical skills assessment (Electrician Stages 1, 2 and 3), theory and regulations tuition in preparation for examinations, and approved First Aid training. It is a 30 week evening course that partially fulfils the requirements for the Electrical Installer class of registration set by EWRB. Practical assessments are conducted and the course prepares students for registration, but does not include the examinations themselves. Upon completion, Unitec submits practical assessment records to EWRB and confirms eligibility to sit an external examination at ASPEQ.
