Work toward a career as a qualified, registered electrician in New Zealand by completing this accredited short course offered by Wintec. Designed for those with electrical experience needing official recognition, the course covers the Electricity Act, Electricity (Safety) Regulations, AS/NZS Wiring Rules, and related regulatory requirements. Delivered via blended learning including online self-paced modules and face-to-face Zoom sessions, it supports preparation for the EWRB Regulations exam. Participants must also register with EWRB to receive an EW Number prior to course start. Exam fees are separate and paid directly to ASPEQ. The course enables participants to understand legal and safety frameworks, the design and use of electrical fittings and appliances, and compliance with New Zealand electrical standards.
