The Bachelor of Environmental Studies at EIT equips students to understand and manage natural systems and human impacts on the environment. The programme covers ecosystems, conservation, land and plant management, biodiversity, biosecurity, and the science and strategies required to monitor, manage, and restore ecosystems. Graduates will be prepared for roles in conservation, sustainability, environmental monitoring, and related fields.

Face-to-face learning in a physical classroom setting
Hawke's Bay Campus, Napier
It will take a total of 3 years

Become proficient in field-based survey methods and ecological data collection for environmental studies.
Applicants 20 years or older without these qualifications: evidence of relevant knowledge and experience, and the ability to undertake tertiary study at degree level (subject to enrolment interview with Programme Coordinator).
