The Master of Pest Management provides advanced study in plant and vertebrate pest management. The programme covers predator eradication, biosecurity, sustainable and socially acceptable management techniques, and adaptive management. Students gain practical experience via research placement and work closely with industry and relevant organisations. Graduates develop a specialist focus and a professional network to support their career in primary production, government, and consultancy roles related to pest management and plant protection.

A relevant New Zealand level 7 bachelor’s degree or recognised equivalent with a B average or better in the 300 level and final year (full-time equivalent) courses.
