This multidisciplinary postgraduate diploma explores the complex relationships between people, societies, and the environment. Students develop both theoretical and practical skills to analyse, evaluate, and communicate about socio-physical phenomena, enhance quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, design and conduct research, and solve both theory-based and real-world environmental and societal issues. Offers pathways to a Master's degree.

Completion of a relevant New Zealand level 7 bachelor’s degree or recognised equivalent with a B- average or better in 300 level and final year (full-time equivalent) courses
