About This Course
This online course provides rural professionals with knowledge and practical skills to identify, measure, and advise on the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in New Zealand agricultural systems, especially pastoral and forestry. Participants will learn about the drivers of agricultural emissions, carbon and nitrogen cycles, GHG accounting, relevant governmental policies, the Emissions Trading Scheme, and mitigation approaches, using real-world case studies and tools such as Overseer Nutrient budgeting software.
