The Master of Sustainable Development Goals (MSDG) at Massey University provides postgraduate-level knowledge and practical skills in the theory and implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This unique programme explores sustainability's economic, social, and environmental dimensions, with multidisciplinary frameworks including Indigenous perspectives. It offers varied specialisations such as climate action, business and sustainability, disaster management, and more. Students take core sustainable development courses, specialise further, and complete a practicum in a relevant organisation, applying SDG concepts in real-world contexts. Flexible delivery is available both online and at Manawatū Campus. Graduates are equipped to meet the global demand for sustainability professionals able to innovate and lead in complex, dynamic environments.
