Students will be able to describe core systems concepts and effectively apply these frameworks to real-world farm systems.

Students will gain an understanding of the main factors and drivers that influence how New Zealand farm systems develop and operate.
This 8-week online course, supported by the Fertiliser Association of New Zealand (FANZ), introduces the scale, operation, and critical importance of agriculture within New Zealand. Participants will gain a framework for understanding agricultural systems, insight into major drivers shaping these systems, and strategies for engaging with farmers. The course highlights the complexity and variability of farm systems and how system-level changes have broad impacts. Suitable for students or professionals with a bachelor's degree. Certificate of Completion is provided, along with 5 credits at Massey University.
