Develop knowledge across animal, soil, crop science, and agricultural systems, emphasising both theoretical and practical aspects.

This 3-year, NZQA Level 7 degree covers every aspect of agriculture, including pasture and crop science, animal and soil science, agribusiness, government policy, economics, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi obligations. The programme incorporates substantial practical experience (at least 26 weeks full-time), utilises award-winning teaching facilities, and is designed to equip graduates for a wide range of roles in the rapidly evolving agricultural industry. Delivery is available both on-campus at Manawatū and via distance learning.

Evaluate contemporary sustainability challenges in agriculture and apply solutions incorporating scientific, economic, and mātauranga Māori perspectives.
IELTS 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 if English is not first language or not completed at an English-medium institution
