This Level 3 certificate delivers the introductory skills and knowledge necessary for your first job in farming. The programme includes hands-on learning—such as driving quad bikes and tractors, fencing, stock drenching, and studying animal anatomy, plant biology and soil science. You'll gain real-world experience two days a week with industry experts. Graduates are equipped for roles on sheep, beef, or dairy farms, or in other areas of New Zealand’s agricultural sector.
Entry Requirements
Provide evidence of ability to complete academic requirements as per Level 1-3 courses.
Attendance at an information session is required.
