This programme is designed for those already working in the financial services sector who wish to upskill and specialise. It builds expert knowledge and practical abilities in New Zealand financial services operations, regulatory frameworks, and client advisory. Students complete two core courses then specialise in one strand such as investment, life/health insurance, general insurance, or residential property lending. Graduates can provide professional financial advice and have pathways to roles such as Insurance Advisor or Technical Specialist.
Entry Requirements
Minimum 8 NCEA Level 2 credits in English (4 in writing, 4 in reading), or equivalent knowledge/skills
Applicants over 20 may be eligible based on previous educational, work or life experience
