Start your career in the maritime industry with this entry level certificate in domestic maritime crewing. The qualification is ideal for those new to maritime or aiming for roles where a Maritime New Zealand Qualified Deck Crew certificate is needed. Students gain the skills and knowledge to operate safely as a deck crew member on vessels under 24 metres, in restricted and near coastal waters. Graduates will also receive the STCW-10 and Maritime Restricted Radio Operators Certificate (MRROC) in addition to the NZQA certificate.
