This is a mix of online learning & face-to-face sessions
Christchurch examination centre, Christchurch
It will take a total of 6 months

Provide evidence of competency in cookery theory and a wide range of practical skills, demonstrated through a portfolio and final exams.

Satisfy all learning outcomes for the NZQA Level 4 Cookery Certificate, ensuring your expertise matches national industry standards.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Commis Chef (or higher) in a commercial/industrial kitchen
Aged 18 years or older
Currently living and working in New Zealand in a commercial kitchen
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Computer literate and able to access the online Learning Management System
Access to required technology (computer, internet, email, scanner, printer, digital camera, etc.)
Access to a well-equipped kitchen
Able to travel to Christchurch for final exams
