Graduates will possess the core knowledge and skills for a career in the horticulture industry, including seasonal production and practical horticultural activities.

Gain the ability to safely operate and maintain a range of horticultural vehicles and machinery typical in the industry.

This 24-week full-time programme combines the NZ Certificate in Primary Industry Skills (Level 2) and the NZ Certificate in Primary Industry Operational Skills (Level 3), equipping students with applied and practical skills in horticulture production, machinery operation, and seasonal work relevant to the industry. Graduates can operate horticultural vehicles, work with industry-standard machinery, and undertake a range of seasonal horticultural activities, preparing them for immediate employment or further study in horticulture.
