Demonstrate skills in managing fruit crops, including canopy management for vineyards and orchards.
Learn on campus at Otago Polytechnic’s ten-hectare crop production facility where wine grapes and cherries are grown. This programme offers a balanced mix of theoretical and practical studies, including real work experience in Central Otago’s horticulture industry. Graduates develop foundational and advanced horticultural skills for employment or further progression in the fruit production industry.
