Ability to either specialise within a particular health discipline or tailor a generalist degree to suit individual interests and career goals.
The Bachelor of Health Science at AUT is designed to help you develop a comprehensive understanding of healthcare needs, providing the flexibility to specialise in areas such as case management, counselling, health management, paramedicine, perioperative practice, psychology, or public and environmental health. Developed with input from district health boards and industry, this degree equips graduates for a wide range of roles in the health sector, including non-clinical and management careers. Study options include full-time or part-time, with teaching delivered by experts in the field.
