The Prehospital Antenatal Care online short course, offered by AUT's Department of Paramedicine, provides in-depth training on antenatal care in prehospital environments. The 100% online programme spans four modules: physiology and assessment, normal delivery, antenatal complications, complex delivery, and neonatal resuscitation and care. Supplementary articles, reviews, studies, and multimedia resources are included. The course aims to support practising paramedics, intensive care paramedics, and EMTs, particularly those wishing to maintain currency in clinical practice. Four compulsory MCQ assessments conclude the learning process. Students are provided 6 months to complete the approximately 16 hours of self-paced learning.
