This programme is designed for people employed as orderlies in hospitals, nursing homes, or similar inpatient healthcare settings. It develops and recognises competencies in ethical and professional practice in health environments, recognising and responding to vulnerability and abuse, providing operational support through orderly services (moving and storing equipment, transporting people), and effective communication in health and wellbeing contexts. Graduates gain nationally-recognised qualifications and skills valued throughout the health sector.
