The Master of Midwifery at Otago Polytechnic offers practising registered midwives an internationally recognised programme focused on research and higher-order analytical skills. Students benefit from experienced supervision, online learning, and engagement with midwifery networks. The programme allows flexible part-time or full-time study and requires two online Thesis Schools per year. Students choose between a 120-credit thesis or a 60-credit dissertation with prerequisite courses, ultimately supporting advanced practice, leadership, and contributions to research in the midwifery profession.
