Students will demonstrate the ability to communicate across a range of modes and media relevant to health sciences.

Students will acquire and apply foundational knowledge of bioscience to health contexts and practical tasks.
The New Zealand Certificate in Study and Employment Pathways (Level 3) (Health Field) at UCOL provides learners with key academic and employment skills in a health context. Suitable for those aspiring to enter health sciences, nursing, or other health-related tertiary study, the programme covers core skills such as academic and career planning, communication, bioscience, and numeracy relevant to the health sciences. It is a foundational pathway to higher study in nursing, allied health, and other health sciences.
