About This Course
The Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 5) at the University of Waikato introduces students to the essentials of hauora, human biology, health systems, and cultural competency. Rooted in equity and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, the programme offers knowledge in holistic health, biomedical sciences, health promotion, and kaupapa Māori psychology. It is equivalent to the first year of a Bachelor of Health and can be credited toward further study.
