The Master of Analytics at AUT equips students with the mathematical, statistical and computational skills required to model and analyse large datasets. The programme is designed both for recent graduates from relevant disciplines and industry professionals looking to advance their knowledge and skills. Study includes advanced analytics, database systems, statistical modelling, mathematical simulation, and a supervised research project. Students may have opportunities to earn industry certifications such as the SAS Joint Certificate in Advanced Analytics.
What you need to know first
Relevant bachelor’s degree in mathematical sciences (or equivalent) with a B grade average in courses at level 7 or above.
In exceptional cases, applicants with a combination of academic and professional experience may be considered subject to completion of prerequisite courses.
