Problem Solving and Data Management is a 15-credit course that develops knowledge of end-user computing tools such as GIS, social and legal impacts of information technology, and principles of data management. Students learn spreadsheet design, database creation and querying, spatial analysis in GIS, and ethical considerations in IT usage. It prepares students to integrate data from multiple sources and understand the evolving nature of IT technologies.
