Over the first 10 weeks, you’ll deepen your data skills with an advanced toolkit: Python, SQL, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Databricks and PySpark, plus foundations in machine learning and AI-assisted analytics. You’ll move from descriptive reporting into predictive and advanced analytics, using modern cloud stacks and AI tools. The second 10 weeks are a mentored work placement where you apply those skills in a real analytics environment, solving genuine business problems, communicating with stakeholders and strengthening a portfolio that supports applications for full analytics roles. This accelerator is designed for people who already understand the basics of data analysis and want to future-proof their career with advanced, AI-powered capability
Course content
- Advanced analytics workflows with Python (e.g. Pandas, visualisation libraries)
- Working with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Databricks and PySpark for large-scale data analysis
- Predictive analytics and building the foundations for machine learning from real datasets
- SQL for data extraction, transformation and modelling across multiple data sources
- Designing analytics solutions that answer real business questions and support decision-making
- Using generative AI to assist with analysis, summarisation and reporting (AI-at-the-centre approach)
- Communicating findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Agile collaboration and teamwork in analytics environments
- 10-week mentored work placement using live business data to deliver real analytics outcomes
