Over 12 weeks full-time (or 24 weeks part-time), you’ll work through a practical, coach-supported programme that introduces you to the day-to-day work of a data analyst. You’ll learn how to wrangle messy data, calculate key metrics, build dashboards, write basic SQL queries and use AI tools to speed up analysis. The focus is on building confidence with real business-style problems, so you finish with a solid foundation and a clear sense of whether you want to move into the AI-Powered Advanced Data Analyst Accelerator or full Data Analyst Diploma.

Must be a New Zealand or Australian citizen or resident
Need to meet NCEA Level 1 literacy and numeracy (or equivalent)

If English isn’t your first language, you’ll need proof of English proficiency (e.g. IELTS 5.5 or equivalent)
No prior tech or maths background required – this programme is beginner friendly
