The programme critically examines the criminal justice system, including the police and use of prisons, explores myths about crime, and investigates effective approaches to crime control. A particular emphasis is placed on children's rights in the courtroom and youth crime in the community. The programme serves as a stepping stone into the Master of Criminology and Criminal Justice.
