This certificate is designed for those interested in a career with the NZ Police, Army, Navy, Air Force, or related public safety services. It covers both academic and physical readiness for service entry tests, alongside theory and background on New Zealand’s policing and defence roles. You will study fitness, English, maths, reasoning, personal and cultural identity, and organisational history, as well as develop teamwork, report writing, presentation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills needed for service or further study.
