The New Zealand Certificate in English Language (General) (Level 3) helps you develop intermediate English language skills for use in the workplace or for further study. The qualification is recognised by employers and educational institutions in New Zealand and prepares you for positions requiring face-to-face communication and basic record-keeping, or for progression to a higher level of English study.

- General speaking and listening 1: understanding main ideas in oral texts, participating in spoken interactions.
- General speaking and listening 2: understanding and participating in oral texts and interactions on reasonably familiar topics.
Entry Requirements
New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Level 2); or
IELTS (Academic) overall band score of 4.5; or
