About This Course
This course is designed for learners who wish to pursue further academic study in an English language medium. Delivered through a blended model—two days per week in class and the rest online—it provides the skills needed to communicate effectively in academic settings. Graduates will have the English language proficiency required to meet entry requirements for diploma and degree courses at levels 6 and 7, and will be able to participate confidently in both independent and team-based academic tasks. English placement is done upon enrolment.

Entry Requirements
New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Applied) (Level 3) OR IELTS 5.5 (no band less than 5.5) or equivalent.
If minimum English requirements are not met, entry interview including spoken, written, reading and listening assessment.
