- Law Office Practice: Law office procedures, trust accounting
- Professional Practice: Professional standards and responsibilities, ethical decision-making
- Contract Law: Elements of valid contracts, formation, discharge, remedies
- Land Law: Procedures for transferring land (conveyancing)
- Business Law: Contract, insurance, consumer law, personal securities, commercial leases, buying/selling a business, company law
- Estates Law: Administration of deceased persons’ property (estate)
- Litigation Law: Debt collection, bankruptcy, family law, legal aid, District and High Court procedures
What you need to know first
Students under 20: NCEA Level 2 with passes in English/Te Reo Māori or equivalent, including 10 Level 2 numeracy credits and at least 42 credits (including 10 reading and writing) at Level 3
