The Graduate Diploma in Law (GradDipLaw) is designed for law graduates from New Zealand and overseas who wish to enhance their legal knowledge and skills. The qualification enables graduates to specialise in areas of particular interest or fulfil professional requirements for practice in New Zealand. The Diploma requires 120 points, including law courses at advanced undergraduate levels, with options to substitute a portion of courses from the Master of Laws programme with faculty approval.

It will take a total of 1 year

Fulfil requirements for continuing legal education recognised by the New Zealand Law Society.
If enrolling in LLB Part II courses, must satisfy the required Grade Point Average for admission into LLB Part II.
Faculty approval required for course substitutions or cross-enrolment.
