Course Content
- Part 1: Research Portfolio (LAWS995) with seminars and cohort meetings
- Produce two research papers of publishable quality
- Develop a research proposal at PhD level
- Part 2: Complete a doctoral thesis of up to 60,000 words
- Critical investigation of a substantial legal topic
- Demonstrate expertise in legal research methodologies
- Present and defend a substantial original contribution to law
