UC's Master of Mathematical Sciences (MMathSci) develops advanced skills in mathematics, data science, statistics, and related fields. You will undertake coursework and research projects, choosing from unendorsed or endorsed pathways (Computational and Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics). Graduates gain expertise in analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication—preparing for research and industry leadership roles, or progression to doctoral study.
What you need to know first
A bachelor's degree in a subject relevant to mathematics (or other approved subjects), with at least 60 points of 300-level courses at a B grade average.
