Graduates will have the specialised knowledge and skills of the componentry aspects of system engineering in the marine industry.

Understand and apply workplace health and safety, sustainability practices, and use required tools and materials safely in marine contexts.

Develop teamwork and communications skills relevant for working effectively as part of a marine system engineering team.
As a marine systems engineer apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople to install, service and troubleshoot the systems that power fishing boats, ferries, launches and commercial craft. You will build skills in fitting, maintaining and testing components to keep vessels performing at their best while developing strong troubleshooting skills across the trade.
