It will take a total of 1 year
Service petrol and diesel engines, including routine maintenance and replacement of components, and understand driveline systems such as transmissions, CVT gearboxes, and cooling systems.

Apply foundational skills to test and repair automotive electrical systems, including starting, charging, ignition, and electronic fuel injection systems, and demonstrate knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
English language competence required; assessment may be required if English is not the first language.
