Apply leadership, safety protocols, and knowledge of international maritime safety standards (including the Marine Engineer Class 5 license requirements).
Medical Certificate issued by a General Practitioner OR a Seafarers Medical Certificate (or equivalent)
Physically fit to participate in practical training
May require MNZ seatime, eyesight, and medical requirements for licensing; see www.maritimenz.govt.nz for details
